ITINERARY

DAY 1: NAIROBI – JOHANESBURG

Depart from Nairobi to Johannesburg. On arrival at OR Tambo international airport you’ll be met by our local representative and transfer to your hotel for check in. Spend rest of the day at leisure to relax and recover from your long journey (no meals are included today)

DAY 2: HALFDAY VISIT TO SOWETO AND JOHANNESBURG TOUR

Soweto represents the hard fought struggle against apartheid. We look beyond the 16 June 1976 uprising and behind the hardene d face of resistance politics, to the core of Soweto- its people. See the poverty of an informal settlement shack. Drive through vilakazi street, once home to two Nobel laureates-Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu. Visit the Hector Peterson Museum, Mandela family museum and enjoy local South African cuisine in one of the vibrant restaurants.

Drive through Johannesburg’s CBD and see the rich architectural history, beautifully preserved in the midst of the exciting urban renewal taking place. See the view of the city and the Nelson Mandela Bridge from its tallest buiding Carlton center. Shopping at own leisure thereafter at the Sandton City, which will give you an opportunity to see how the rich and affluent of Johannesburg live. You will also get to see the famous statue of former statesman Nelson Mandela at the Nelson Mandela square.

 DAY 3: FULL DAY EXCURSION TO SUN CITY

Arrival to the world’s most distinctive resort-Sun City. Set in the middle of Pilannesburg National Park, the Resort has a unique   heartbeat and an African rhythm of its own. There are four world-class hotels including the magnificent palace of the lost city. This is the ideal place for all your entertainment needs from game drives, helicopter tours, quad bike tours, cultural tours, water sports, golf   and spending the day at thworld famous valley of the waves.

DAY 4: RELAXATION

After breakfast spend the day relaxing or you can go out shopping.

DAY 5: JOHANESBURG – NAIROBI

Breakfast at hotel and free leisure at the hotel or walk out around the hotel then transfer to the airport for your departure back to Kenya.
