Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival in Kasane – Sunset Boat Safari on Chobe River

Arrive at Kasane Airport, where you’ll be met by your guide and transferred to your lodge near Chobe National Park.

After lunch, enjoy a Chobe River boat safari, famous for its large herds of elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and dazzling birdlife. Capture sunset views over the water while observing animals as they gather to drink along the banks.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive in Chobe – Transfer to Savuti

Start with an early morning game drive in Chobe National Park, known for high concentrations of elephants, buffaloes, and predators like lions and leopards.

After breakfast, depart for Savuti, located in the remote western part of Chobe. Savuti is renowned for its dramatic predator-prey action and ancient baobab trees. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive.

Day 3: Full-Day Safari in Savuti - Botswana’s Big Cats capital

Spend the entire day exploring Savuti’s rugged savannah, home to some of Botswana’s most thrilling wildlife encounters. Track lion prides, cheetahs, wild dogs, and elephant bulls as they traverse open plains and bushveld.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild and continue the search for game and raptors in the afternoon.

Day 4: Fly to Okavango Delta – Mokoro Canoe Ride & Nature Walk

After breakfast, transfer to the Savuti airstrip for your scenic bush flight to the Okavango Delta. Upon landing, you’ll be transferred by boat or vehicle to your delta camp.

After settling in, experience a peaceful mokoro canoe safari through narrow water channels filled with lilies, frogs, and kingfishers. Later, enjoy a guided bush walk to explore wildlife on foot.

Day 5: Full-Day Okavango Delta Exploration – Walking & Water Safaris

Enjoy a full day in the heart of the Okavango Delta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Activities depend on the water level but often include: Morning nature walk with expert trackers, Mokoro canoe ride or motorboat safari, Birdwatching with chances to see African fish eagles, herons, jacanas, and rare owls, Tracking red lechwe, elephants, hippos, and more. Later return for sundowners and storytelling around the campfire at your hotel.

Day 6: Sunrise Delta Safari – Fly to Maun – Departure

Enjoy a sunrise mokoro safari or a short bush walk to savor your final moments in the delta wilderness.

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Maun, where your safari concludes. Optional connections to Victoria Falls, Cape Town, or Johannesburg can be arranged.
