Tour Plan

Day 1 – Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Spend the day relaxing after your flight, enjoying views of Mount Meru, and preparing for the start of your safari adventure.

Day 2 – Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant herds. Enjoy a full-day game drive across the Tarangire River ecosystem, spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, and abundant birdlife before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Tarangire to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Leave Tarangire after breakfast and drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of rolling highlands. Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim and take time to relax, with stunning panoramic views into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera.

Day 4 – Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a day of exceptional game viewing. The crater floor is home to elephants, buffaloes, black rhinos, lions, hyenas, flamingos, and more than 25,000 resident animals. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before returning to your lodge.

Day 5 – Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, continue your journey to Serengeti National Park via the Olduvai Gorge region. Enter the vast plains of the Serengeti, famous for the Great Migration and its high concentration of predators. Enjoy an afternoon game drive en route to your lodge.

Day 6 – Full-Day in Serengeti

Spend a full day exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti, tracking the Big Five and witnessing dramatic wildlife interactions. Depending on the season, you may encounter large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles as well as cheetahs, leopards, and lions.

Day 7 – Serengeti to Maasai Mara (Isebania Border)

After an early breakfast, depart toward the Isebania border for immigration formalities, then continue into Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy a game drive on arrival as you head toward your camp, settling in for dinner in Africa’s most iconic safari destination.

Day 8 – Full-Day in Maasai Mara

Enjoy a full day of exhilarating game drives in the Maasai Mara, famous for its rolling savannahs and exceptional wildlife densities. Look out for big cats, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, and during the season, the dramatic wildebeest river crossings along the Mara River.

Day 9 – Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru

Depart the Mara after breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive around the lake, known for rhinos (both black and white), tree-climbing lions, buffaloes, and flocks of flamingos that paint the shoreline pink.

Day 10 – Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

After a short morning drive in Nakuru, continue to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake famed for its hippos and birdlife. In the afternoon, enjoy an optional boat ride or visit Crescent Island for a guided walking safari among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes.

Day 11 – Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park

Depart Naivasha after breakfast and drive through the Great Rift Valley toward Amboseli, arriving in time for an afternoon game drive. Amboseli offers some of the best views of Mount Kilimanjaro, as well as large elephant herds and classic savannah landscapes.

Day 12 – Amboseli to Arusha/Departure

Enjoy a final early morning game drive in Amboseli before crossing the Namanga border back into Tanzania. Arrive in Arusha later in the afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or airport, marking the end of your 12-day East African safari adventure.
