Discover the highlights of Nairobi on this 2-day city experience, combining wildlife, history, culture, shopping and local cuisine. 08:30 AM – Pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi and depart for Karen.
09:00 AM – Visit the Giraffe Centre, where you can get close to and feed the endangered Rothschild’s giraffes from the raised viewing platform. The centre is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
10:30 AM – Proceed to the Karen Blixen Museum, the former home of Danish author Karen Blixen, best known for Out of Africa. Enjoy a guided tour of the house, gardens and surrounding grounds.
12:00 PM – Visit Kazuri Beads & Pottery Centre, where you can see artisans making handmade beads and pottery and browse the locally produced crafts.
01:30 PM – Lunch at a restaurant in Karen (self-catered).
03:00 PM – Return to your hotel and relax/free time.
06:30 PM – Pick-up for dinner at Carnivore Restaurant, one of Nairobi's iconic dining experiences, famous for its nyama choma-style roasted meats.
08:30 PM – Return to your hotel.
08:30 AM – Pick-up from your hotel and begin the Nairobi city tour.
09:00 AM – Drive through the Central Business District, viewing some of Nairobi's main landmarks and modern city architecture.
10:00 AM – Visit the Uhuru Gardens / Kenyatta International Convention Centre area for sightseeing.
01:00 PM – Lunch at a local or city restaurant (self-catered).
02:30 PM – Continue with a city sightseeing and shopping experience, including a visit to a Maasai Market or local craft centre, depending on the day's market schedule.
04:00 PM – Return to the hotel for overnight stay
