Sabi Sands is also called “the prince of game reserves”. This wildlife enclave has an immense wildlife gene pool and a safari in Sabi Sands will surely be a memorable one. Nestled near the seasonal Sand River, in a beautiful forested thicket, this private lodge is located in the iconic and wildlife-rich Sabi Sands. Your bespoke accommodation consists of a semi-luxury safari tent in a private luxury bush camp. Experience fantastic game drives and an exciting bush walk during these 3 days.
We will pick you up from your hotel or the OR Tambo airport at around 7 am. We travel east, passing picturesque landscapes and farmlands en-route to our lodge in Sabi Sands. We will have comfort stops along the way where you will be able to buy snacks and refreshments.
We arrive in the early afternoon at the camp. After check-in, you will have time to relax and freshen up before boarding an open-sided game-viewer for an exciting afternoon, sunset and night game drive. Along the way, you will stop for sundowners before continuing the night safari. Return to the camp and enjoy your time around a boma fire and drinks at the bar before a full-course dinner. You will overnight in your semi-luxury safari tent.
In the early morning, enjoy some light refreshments like juice, tea/coffee, followed by a sunrise game drive in an open Land Cruiser. We will have a tea and coffee stop en-route before continuing with the exciting morning game drive that is sure to present some fantastic sightings and photo opportunities. Afterward, return to the lodge where a hearty breakfast will be served.
After breakfast you will have some downtime to relax. Some things to do include swimming, sunbathing, relaxing, and visiting the lookout viewpoints and games room. In the afternoon, we enjoy a light lunch. Late afternoon, we depart on an afternoon, sunset and night safari, enjoying sundowners at a viewpoint along the way. After the night safari, you return to the camp where you can relax and enjoy some drinks at the bar or around the boma fire. Enjoy a great dinner and overnight in your bespoke accommodation.
In the early morning, we will meet for light refreshments like juice and tea/coffee, followed by a sunrise game drive. After your safari activity, enjoy a scrumptious breakfast at camp before your departure.
We do a late morning tour along the Panorama Route. Scenic stops include Bourke's Luck Potholes, God's Window and the Blyde River Canyon. We return to Johannesburg in the late afternoon where we drop you off by arrangement.
