Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve
Morning: Depart Nairobi early in the morning and drive to Samburu National Reserve (approximately 6-7 hours).
Midday: Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch.
Afternoon: Embark on your first game drive in Samburu, known for its unique wildlife such as Grevy's zebra, Somali ostrich, and reticulated giraffe.
Evening: Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full Day in Samburu
- Morning: Early morning game drive to catch the animals at their most active.
- Midday: Return to the lodge/camp for breakfast and relaxation. Optionally, visit a local Samburu village to learn about their culture.
- Afternoon: After lunch, head out for another game drive to explore different areas of the reserve.
- Evening: Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Samburu to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
- Morning: After breakfast, depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy (approximately 3-4 hours drive).
- Midday: Arrive at your lodge or camp in Ol Pejeta in time for lunch.
- Afternoon: Go on a game drive in Ol Pejeta, home to the Big Five and the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa. Visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary.
- Evening: Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Ol Pejeta to Nairobi
- Morning: Early morning game drive in Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
- Midday: Return to the lodge/camp for breakfast and check-out.
- Afternoon: Drive back to Nairobi (approximately 3-4 hours), arriving in the late afternoon.
