Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet and greet by your safari guide, and transfer to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a relaxed city tour or simply unwind at the lodge while soaking in the beautiful surroundings. Arusha serves as the perfect gateway to Tanzania’s Northern Safari Circuit, and an overnight stay allows you to prepare for the adventure ahead. Dinner and overnight in Arusha.
Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. The park is famous for large elephant herds, baobab trees, and rich wildlife. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or tented camp.
Day 3: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
Breakfast at the lodge, then drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area enroute to Serengeti National Park. En route, you pass through Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying breathtaking views of the highlands. Upon entering the Serengeti, the landscape opens into endless plains dotted with wildlife. You’ll enjoy afternoon game drive in Serengeti before check in at your hotel. Dinner and overnight at a safari lodge or tented camp.
Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Spend the entire day exploring Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Spot the Big Five, cheetahs, hyenas, and vast herds of wildlife. Optional hot air balloon safari (at extra cost). Dinner and overnight in Serengeti.
Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Early morning breakfast followed by morning game drive in Serengeti. Depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area with wildlife viewing enroute. Arrive at the crater rim view point in the afternoon for scenic views and later proceed with the drive to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Full Day
Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, and large flocks of flamingos on the crater lake. After a picnic lunch on the crater floor, you ascend and later drive to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park
Wake up to breakfast and proceed to game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, known for tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and lush forests. Afternoon at leisure or optional activities. Dinner and overnight near Lake Manyara.
Day 8: Lake Manyara – Arusha / Departure
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before driving back to Arusha. Depending on your onward travel plans, you are transferred to the airport for your onward flight, bringing your unforgettable Tanzanian safari adventure to a close.
